Services will be held at North's Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday July 14, 2020 at 10:30am. Private Interment will be held at Elmwood Memorial Park on Hwy 277. Raymond Ray L. Milligan, age 68, of Dogwood Terrace, Mount Vernon, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at his home. He was born on November 15, 1944 in Licking County to the late Harold and Doris (Kirkpatrick) Milligan Sr. Ray was a 1962 graduate of Mount Vernon High School and served in the United States Air Force from 1965 to 1969. He was employed for 30 years at the Newark Air Force Base before retiring from Boeing International after 15 years.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Bonnie (Metcalf) Milligan, a daughter, Christy (Randy) Staton of Howard, two grandchildren, Drayden and Colby Staton, five brothers, Harold (Nicky) Milligan Jr. of Mount Vernon, Robert (Colleen) Milligan of Mount Vernon, Ronald (Gail) Milligan of Mount Vernon, Jeffery (Dee Ann) Milligan of Arizona City, Arizona, Bart Milligan of Columbus and a sister, Jeannie Schroeder of Mount Vernon.
Friends may call on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home where a funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. Pastor Brad Ham will be officiating.
