Warning: Risk of Fire or Explosion This electrical component is a manufacturer-authorized service part to be used in refrigerator models with a flammable refrigerant, such as R600a. Using an unauthorized service part in a unit that uses a flammable refrigerant could lead to a risk of fire or explosion in your refrigerator.
Model LT90 delivers improved airflow efficiency for ninety degree turns. It is a straight pipe equivalent for most building code including 2009 and 2012 IMC and IRC. LT90 Technical Specifications LT90 Installation Instruction The Dryer-Ell has a four-inch diameter (the standard for dryer duct pipe) and an eighteen-inch overall length. Because it is code approved to eliminate run-length penalties, the LT90 is very useful for taking advantage of the maximum allowable exhaust duct length. Its longer radius and smooth interior improve dryer performance and are 500% more airflow efficient than sectioned elbows. ASHRAE Calculations Based on the fundamentals handbook methodology for calculating friction loss, the LT90 has an equivalent length of 1.5 feet (or its actual length). You may find full formula details and independent engineering confirmation in the White Papers / ASHRAE Calculations sections. These calculations are recognized in 2006 IRC under section M1502.6 (2009 and 2012 IRC and IMC list the actual length as discussed below). International Code Council Adoption 2009 International Mechanical Code and International Residential Code now include tables eliminating the run length reduction required for standard elbows when using a Dryer-Ell alternative. Now, instead of having to show the full ASHRAE based airflow effect, the tables clearly show that a ten inch radius smooth 45 degree elbow has an equivalent length of 3/4 feet (LT45's actual length).
This unique elbow is designed to make 90 turns within 4 even when you have a protruding pipe. The slotted collar fits over dryer pipes which can protrude up to 2.5. It can also fit over wall outlet pipes if the pipe is too large for the Wall Offset Elbow

Ziggurat Products is a family-owned and operated company by father, Brent Clark, and his son, Ryan Clark. Brent and Ryan were discussing the difficulties of installing a dryer vent hose, and how the dryer hose is often crushed in tight settings resulting in an increased risk of dryer-related fires. At the time there wasn't a product that would resolve the issue, so with a background in the engineering and plastic industries, Brent and Ryan created a solution to the dryer vent installation issue called Snap to Vent. Elbow Eliminator - gain 5 foot of duct run Standard dryer exhaust duct-length criteria states that each 90 elbow you install reduces the allowable total length of dryer duct by five feet. Installing The Dryerbox removes the need for a 90 bend penetrating the drywall, instantly gaining five feet of duct run.
Larger Appearing Laundry Room - Sales Tactic Because customers are so accustomed to seeing the dryer sticking out five or six inches from the wall, installing the Dryerbox can have a big impact. When they walk through a model home, a keen eye will notice the unusual position of the dryer when its moved all the way back. This is a great moment for a sales agent to comment on the innovative, space saving and energy saving devices that you provide and how that attention to detail can be found throughout the house.
Dryer Related Service-calls Are Minimized Clothes dryers can be a nuisance when they become callback items for new-home builders. When the flex hose becomes squished, for example, exhaust efficiency is reduced and air movement is not sufficient to carry small particles of lint to the exterior.
Due to this bottleneck, lint will collect in the flex hose and duct pipe until the homeowner notices that clothes are not drying (or until there is a fire). In most cases, the builder initiates an expensive service call only to find that the dryer was pushed back too far and air-flow was restricted. These types of dryer related service calls can be virtually eliminated with the use of the Dryerbox. This simple receptacle allows the homeowner to move the dryer as far back against the wall as they desire with no negative effect to the efficient movement of air through the hose.
Clothes Dryer Building Code information (Summary of ICC Codes): 2003 IMC - International Mechanical Code (section 504) and 2003 IRC - International Residential Code (section 1501): In brief, the maximum length of duct permitted is 25 feet. This maximum length should be reduced by 2.5 feet for each 45 bend and 5 ft. for each 90 bend. The maximum length of exhaust duct does not include the transition duct. The duct should be a minimum nominal size of 4 inches in diameter and shall have a smooth interior finish.
Dryer Vent 4" Close Clearance Elbow - Here's a line of 4" rigid aluminum dryer vent pipe to use when replacing vinyl ducts. Use the close clearance elbow whenever possible. It will make a 90 degree turn in only 4 1/2"! Use thewall offset elbow or dryer offset elbow to work with difficult outlets. Do NOT use more than one offset elbow per installation.
