The extrusion process has been used for producing briquettes and pellets, wherein the forward extrusion process was used for producing the briquettes and the backward extrusion process was used for producing pellets. Analysis, fabrication, and experimentation were carried out on fabricated briquette cum pellet machine. The objective of the experimentation was to find out the density of the briquette and pellet obtained using sawdust and aspen chips as raw material and a binder (bentonite or starch) combination.
